Abstract:
Municipalities and other entities such as universities and prisons that meet certain standards must obtain NPDES permit coverage for discharges of stormwater from their municipal separate stormwater systems (MS4s). This presentation will provide a general update on the program and what's next in the MS4 program.
Speaker Bio:
Mrs. Fields is the Clean Water Program Manager for the Southeast Regional Office of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), responsible for sewage planning, NPDES and Water Quality permitting, West Nile and Black Fly programs, along with operational compliance and enforcement. During her 24 years with DEP, she has been both a permit engineer and the permit section chief. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mrs. Fields served 11 years in the U.S. Army, in both active and reserve units, overlapping her time with DEP. She a licensed engineer in Pennsylvania.

The meeting price for non-members who wish to receive a Certificate of Attendance for the PDH is $10.00 ($3.00 for meeting + $7.00 for certificate).
